the last before bedtime!

actually it's quite late already..but then, i want to share something! it's hard for me to sleep early at night..we called it as insomnia..have you ever heard about it??? Frankly speaking, it's not good to sleep late at night,as a normal human being , we need at least 6-8 hours of sleeping time at night! i already misses out a few hours

Let's look at the consequences of sleeping late at night

  • Apparently, when you sleep late, your body unleashes a ton of destructive hormones like cortisol, into your bloodstream. Cortisol is a stress hormone; too much of it, and it can seriously affect your cell health. This explains why all this while, after 12 AM, my body always felt increasingly  “wasted.” Not just sleepiness, but a general sense of lethargy seeping through my entire body.
  • They also increase your chance of a stroke of heart attack if done continously, as well as people that work at night are also less mentally stable and far less reliable ( sound scary right???)
  • Eye bag or panda eyes (i believe girls don't like this at all)
So...what are you waiting for..shut down the computer and go to sleep..zzzzz...Good Night!!

* i'm not sleepy yet,force myself to sleep...hahaha

2 weeks more!!

dearies blogger...

time is moving too fast..we are heading towards the end of the semester.this is my third semester as a lecturer in UITM Dungun..there's a lot of thing happened. Here in Dungun, I learnt to know what is the meaning of "missing each other" as i miss my family in Malacca very much...I'm alone here in the beginning of my journey. However, Alhamdulillah, God send someone special in my life to accompany and join my journey here..my lovely husband! Not only that, here in Dungun i met my lovely students who inspired me to improve myself as a lecturer..here, i learnt to be independence, even though i'm a spoil-brat daughter! i managed to face all the challenges and obstacles..this semester is a bit different where my title change from miss to madamme! Yet, some of students still called me miss..because i'm always remained as "miss'' in their heart :)

my special dedication for my students this semester..HM1112A,BM1142A and AC1101A..

GOOD LUCK IN YOUR FINAL EXAM AND PLEASE REMAIN AS A FIGHTER AS THE BATTLE IS STILL GOING ON!!!

love ya!!

Study Smart Not Study Hard!

hi my dearie students...

Final exam is just around the corner..the time is moving too fast until we dont realize that we are heading towards the end of the semester...how do you feel??i believed u do many things to accomplish especially revising all the notes for all subjects. .Some of you will sacrifice your relaxing time for the sake of doing revision! This is included neglecting your sleeping time..it is a BIG NO for this!!  Do you know the difference between study hard and study smart???? let's examine it ! When you talk about study hard it refers to the way you study. You dont need to sacrifice everything in order to study. You dont need to skip sleeping just for the sake of revising..it is burdening! The most important thing here is you must know how to plan your time and organize your schedules...These are the tips to help you to study smart:
  • Before you start your study, you should have a clear idea about your goals. Start your studies by attending classes regularly. Quite often teachers discuss about important chapters or passages in the classrooms. So, attending these sessions will help you in understanding the matter.
  • The success of this study smart not hard theory will also require you to take notes. This will help you refer to the explanations or important definitions whenever you need. Taking notes is also a good strategy to memorize important things.
  • Do not keep on studying throughout the day. You should also allot some time for leisure activities or games. Exercise regularly. All these will have a positive effect on your body and indirectly help you to concentrate better
Got It??? So, practice those tips and you will see the outcomes..
That's all from me..adios!

speaking test!

it's a freezing day today..the rain pour down heavily from the early morning..as a result, my session for speaking test with my students had been delayed for an hour..seriously,it's hard to get up this morning due to the coldness and i felt like want to continue dreaming ..huhu..but, my work is my priority (erm..?)..my students keep calling me to get permission to delay the test..its okay for me as long as you come for the test..i'll wait for you..that's what i told my students ^__^. the test start on 9 am and end at 11.30..2 hours duration and it's like having a test in a refrigerator as the air conditioner in the room is extremely cold!!! i still remember when one my students is shivering while presenting his ideas..what to do?there is no controller for the air conditioner ..let's talk about the test..i felt a bit upset today as most of the students failed to carry out the discussion..i admit that that the questions are quite complicated but they can explain it in general ..these are the major problems occurred:

  1. Unable to provide relevance answer based on the task given
  2. No background knowledge on the topic provided (reading is not their passion)
  3. Low self esteem to speak in English
  4. Lack of practice
  5. Don't know how to organize their ideas and elaborate the points.
SO, dear students, please look upon the matters above and try to improvise yourselves in speaking..as a lecturer, i do understand that it is not easy to speak in English fluently but if there's a rail there will always be a way for you ..don't give excuses and keep on trying until you get what u want

sincerely..
